Heck, here is what the civilian version looks like on a Blaser R93 in 8.5X63 Reb (which is loaded with a 110 grain Impala Solid at 3700 fps)

    Holy smokes man!

Does that thing come with a gunbearer? I don't have a TV as big as that obj. lens.

Looks like a neat set up. I've never heard of the 8.5x63 Reb, can you post some specifics about it?

Nice optic! I am hoping to put a decent scope on the 243 I'm getting for a predator/blacktail gun. I have to say though I'm impressed with the cheapo Bushnel 3-9X40 that came on my Remmy 770 .300 Win Mag. First cheap scope I've ever had that won't let go of zero. I was planning to replace it with something better, but I haven't yet found a reason to.

The other 299,300,000 people can have it.

Noone has a more intimate understanding of, or deeper appreciation for freedom, than a soldier who has fought for it in a country where it does not exist.

MAP on the 6-24x72 is $3765.

The lowest priced one is the 3-12x56FF at $3200 and change.

The nice thing is that these are MAP prices so we have room to move.

Yes. I did a side by side with a Leupy yesterday and the difference is like night and day. Its like holding up a Leupy next to a $20 Chinese scope. Its like comparing nude pics of Megan Fox and Rosie O'Donnel

I dont even want to shoot my Leupold Mk 4 any more. I am ruined. Its going up for sale

Just a little bit more than 5 new rifles...
Or the same price as a Blaser.

Anybody wants to come by to look through one, feel free. You will get aroused.

The only specifics I have are this:

    Gents,
yes, I'm the originator of both the 8,5x63 and the rimmed 8,5x63 R.
Cases are made by Horneber, Fürth, Germany (www.huelsen-Horneber.de) .
Both cartridges are available in loaded form from several small manufacturers here in Europe and will be available by 2010 from an international dealing "biggie" Ammo-Manufacturer (all I can say is, that Nosler and Barnes Bullet loads will be available then).
Load data is easily obtainable from QuickLoad Ballistics Programme.

    Thanks
    Werner Reb

I bet its Norma or Lapua who will be doing it

While it is undoubtedly a super piece of glass, and rightly so at around $3700 bucks. I just don't feel like carrying a 2 1/2 pound scope around is a prudent way to expend extra energy.
Plus a slip/fall like I took this last summer would likely have rendered it into $3700 worth of scrap metal.

    Enjoy the scope though !!

There you had to go and insult all those POS Chinese scopes buy comparing them to a nude Rosie picture... you should really apologize to all that Chicom glass.

Just what ARE you looking at through your scope to get aroused?

If I can look through it and see a naked Megan Fox it might just be worth $3700!
