    Default batt heated socks

    has anybody tried these, and do they work, if so what is a good brand. Thanks

    Tried them a couple of years ago and I don't think they're worth it. If you're feet are getting cold you're better of figuring out why and solving that. My feet always sweat and that's why mine get cold. I fixed it by getting larger boots for better airflow, applying foot powder to keep them dry, and using wools socks to keep insulating even if I sweat. I also use breathable canvas boots (read military mukluks) if I'm not concerned about encountering slush or water.

    I used them once in a tree stand on a very cold day. lasted two hours then my feet got really cold. Next afternoon, did what kay9cop advises
