    If I heard the radio correctly...last year yeilded over 80,000 ounces mostly from two mines in alaska. The most annual production since 1916.
    Edit Belay that...the amout is 800,000

    Yep. between Pogo and Fort Knox they brought in some dough.

    They are saying that these mine's are nothing compared to the Pebble and Livingood finds.

    Then you have some guy down south that says Alaska does'nt have enough to pay its way.

    The Pebble and Donlin Creek Projects if they come online soon will boost that 800,000 ounce mark alot, for sure. In the article, they were refering to Donlin Creek and not Livengood, I believe.
