Thumbs up me and the boy...

wanted to take the boy up and chase bunnies where we could actually see a few, so we made a run up the peninsula.... had a couple tips (thanks steve)
and we found a few . galen got 3 (okay, 2 1/2 .... he now knows why you let them get out a ways before you hit them with a F/C .410 )
i got the other 3 with my .32 crockett, first critters i've taken with a smoke-pole.
40 gr of pyro P behind a PRB did more damage than i expected . i think i will load down to 25 gr next time.
i'm thinking bunny sausage with sage and orange blossom mead.

Homerdave, looks like you guys had a good trip. I'd definitely give you some style points for using the .32 crockett. Galen using a Rossi Tuffy?

Congrats on your success! My son has wanted to get a hare this Fall. We are still looking. I'll have to get out there and bag one for us soon. We both enjoy seeing the pics of how everyone doing.

    Default got 2 so far...

galen got one in his line yesterday, all snares he set by himself in areas he chose, and i got one this morning.
had a few "misses" too, as evidenced by snares being knock askew.
