Smile Am I a bunny glutton?

I feel like a glutton taking all these bunnies, but they are sooo gooood to eat! I had a few free hours today, so I busted to my favorite little bunny hole and brought back 7 for tomorrow's dinner.

They sure are beautiful, dressed in white. I was sure to leave as many or more than I harvested to ensure propagation.

I nearly shot a fox too, but he had the jump on me. I was already picking a spot on the wall for a nicely tanned fox hide in full winter apparel, but that didn't work out for me.

These little bunnies sure aren't 65" bull moose or 42" full curls, but the sense of accomplishment at the dinner table is no different.

Everyone, good luck out there this winter bringing home the protein! I love AK!

    Default My little gun

It's a Winchester Model 9410 (.410 ga). It has rifle sights and shoots the heck out of small game. The gun is really light weight and closely resembles the various Winchester 30-30's I own as well as the Winchester 94-22's (all of which are lever actions).

I've been shooting anything from 6 to 7.5 shot, 2.5 " shells for the small game. ...sure is fun.

Nice! I'm hoping to get some hares before they go brown right after I get home. Congrats on a nice haul!

The other 299,300,000 people can have it.

Noone has a more intimate understanding of, or deeper appreciation for freedom, than a soldier who has fought for it in a country where it does not exist.

Awesome hunt and really nice looking gun! I will have to look into getting one of those for my son (so I can use it too!)
