Default Eshamy Lagoon to Eshamy lake

Does anyone know how large the Eshamy river/creek is? Would it be possable (at high tide) for me to take my small 14ft Zodak up the river and in to the lake? Any information on the area would be really helpful.

The answer to that is no it is not possible in any power boat due to the steep gradient of the river and the amount of boulders and lack of water.

One could haul a kayak up to the lake then float it back down. There is a nice trail along the river/creek that you can walk on.

No can do with a power boat like broncoformudv said. F&G has a weir in place during the sockeye run, so you would have to portage over it. It could make for an interesting ride back down to the salt in a kayak or pack raft. Great trail, too.
