    Default Silver Salmon Closeups

I'm getting ready to paint a reproduction silver salmon and am searching for good closeup photos of the body, fins, and head. If anyone would like to post some photos that would be great or you can send them to me directly at: jseb@lamar.colostate.edu Thankyou!

    Default Thanks again guy!

I will be painting a fairly fresh (silver phase) buck with the upper jaw just starting to curve...similar to Drifers and Bigcoxs whopper, silvery bucks. The closeups of the spots, eyes, scales, head, tail, and fins are really helpful. That is an impressive line of fish..someone's arms must have gotten a bit tired? I've been drooling at all your great silvers! Again great photos and fish!

I'll get ya some extreme closeups over the next few days of something that you're looking for. Our WA fisherry is just starting up and most of the bucks are still quite bright.

Been some awfully good fishing ... for as poor as many of the AK fisheries did this season, the NW has seen some mind-boggling returns in many streams thus far ... both for wild fish and those either predominantly, or simply supplemented with hatchery fish as well. Maybe PDO is in full force?

Yep, been lots of sore arms so far!

I'll email some pix to ya once I get back on the water after a breather

    Default Fish Blank

Here's the website where I purchased my blank. http://www.jgreplicas.com/Products.html I ordered the coho/silver in the bottom photo (RCS2D) but with a head similar to the one in the photo immediately above it. It ought to be fun bringing the blank to life with color! Thanks for the great photos guys!
