    Default rebarrel vs new gun?

I'm in the process of rebarreling a win mod 70 in .222 rem to .20 tactical, I was wondering if anyone had done anything like it. Recoil of the tac 20 is supsosed to be less and the balistics better? I've taken deer, seal, sealion, seaotter, fox with this .222 and its great but would like to beable to see where I'm striking, I use mainly 55gr FMJ, the soft points and especially the hollow points are no good for marine mammals, so I stuck with the FMJ

I have no experience with the 20 Tactical, but my inclination would be to buy a new gun while leaving the 222 as-is. I'm sentimental about the 222, and they aren't that common any more in Mod 70's. A few years down the road when your kids get older, and especially when you have grandkids, it will be kinda nice to pull out that old 222 and show them how a "real" gun shoots. I bet they'll be really proud to inherit it, too.
