I just installed one of these last week and really like it. Most of the cheaper windshields recommend you remove them while trailering. 70 mph down the road on an open trailer was no problem. Kept the cold air off my hands too.

    Default Has anyone had these?

I recall breaking a few windshields on snowmobiles (back in Minnesota when I was a kid - that is what we called em) going through the brush. The kinda places my wheeler goes would have smashed any old style windshield to pieces. Do they make them more durable now?

There is a faster way off the mountain, might hurt a little though.

Mike-Windshields have changed just a wee bit in the last 35 years.

Snowmachine windshields are fairly tough now and some newer ATV windshields have a "breakaway" feature that allows them to fold back on pivots when hit with something.
