    Default Beaver Carasses for Bait

I'm considering using beaver meat/carasses for trapping this year. What is the going rate for beaver carasses? please spare the beaver jokes. Thanks

Well if you can get someone to give them up that isn't using them for the same thing, about 10 dollars. The dog mushers buy them from me when I have enough.

Agree with Arrowslinger. $10 each is the going rate for average sizes and large/extra large usually $15-$20. Challenge is finding someone who does not already have a market or a use for them. You might try an additional "Wanted" posting on the Alaska Frontier Trappers Association website at www.akfta.org .
