Default 2009 review - Anything new?

Being that the boating season is over for me it is time to take a quick look back before looking forward and planning next years adventures. My goal is always to see somewhere new each trip even if that just means exploring a new bay. This year I managed to check off a lot of country in PWS that was on my list of "To See" as the weather cooperated each trip down to the sound. Attached are a few pictures of some areas we explored this Summer - nothing more beautiful than PWS on a calm sunny day. Now back to the planning for 2010.

Talking I'm totally with you on PWS

Man what a year. If next summer is half as nice as the last, I'm in heaven.

    Best Camp

    Best Shrimpy Harvest

    Best Berries

    Best Water

    Default Agreed!

Pretty new to the Sound; Pete (aka Spoiled One) was kind enough to have us as guests on Patience for a few days and although the weather was cool and wet, I have to say that spending time out there was simply spectacular; shrimp, fish, steaks on the barbie, coffee 'round the clock, cinnamon rolls in the morning, seeing black bears on the beach, GREAT boat; I could go on....does it get any better?

    Default Here are a couple

These were taken during a little hookie from Soccer. It even gets sunny in Valdez once in a while.

Your sacrifice is greatly appreciated! As a Beirut vet myself, I salute you and your unit for the freedom we enjoy. God bless and hurry back.

Thanks guys! Can't wait to get on the water next spring and produce some of my own pictures to post up on here. Its good to see there was such a great summer to be had in Alaska this year. I think that is the most sun I have seen in Valdez in some time!
