    Default fly in fishing Kodiak

I'm looking for a little advice on flying into remote sockeye locations next July on Kodiak. Would like to fly into the 'Saltery, thinking that would be best in mid july. Any other recommendations for that time of year. . .or the best charters to fly with?

    thanks for your help,
    AC Gal

I'd take a atv into saltery rather than fly.

In your research realize that most of the rivers with sockeye in them have ADF&G weirs on them
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

Did the ATV trip in with a guide this year--and enjoyed it more than I ever thought I would.
Next year, four of us will be fishing and thought that a plane trip might be cheaper/faster. My oldest brother is concerned about aches and pains. . .
