Has anyone tried these? If so what were your results?

I don't know what you plan to use these for, but I have no personal use for a 300 grain load in a 45/70. I do not care what kind of bullet it is the 300 grain is not the performer that a 350 or better still 400 grain bullet is in the 45/70 on big game. Perhaps if you are only hunting deer you can use them satisfactorily, but IMO the 400/405 is the bullet weight for a 45/70.

    Default TSX bullets

I've heard the TSX is faster than standard bullets the same weight. I was wondering if the 300 gr TSX, by the increase in speed, would have the same energy as a heavier bullet further down range. I am going to try them in my 35 Whelen and my 30-06. From what I have read the accuracy of a 225 gr TSX in 35 Whelen is good to 300 yards or more with as much energy as a 250 gr. I was wondering if anyone has tried them in the 45-70.
