    Default Bullet selection for Moose

I accidentally bought a box of hornady 300 gr solids for my .375 and was wondering if I could still use them for a moose hunting trip coming up?

I wouldn't. Unless you hit him in the spine or maybe the large shoulder bones, the solids are just going to drill a neat hole that may allow the moose to get away. I would buy some quality, controlled expansion ammo before the hunt. Even Core lokts in your .375 would be good for moose.

You could use the solids for wolves or coyotes. Probably wouldn't mess up the hide too bad.
