    Default Trigger job turnaround time?

How long would you expect to wait for a gunsmith to do a trigger job? What would you deem as acceptable around this time of year?

I would like to hear your opinions and the opinions of any smith's that may be on the board. It's my understanding that a competent gunsmith can turn one out relatively quickly and the customer will have a quality job done. Let's say for argument's sake that we're talking about a Remington 700 or a Winchester Model 70. 2 relatively popular rifles and triggers.

Depends of how busy the smith is. How long have you been waiting?

Generally if a customer drops a M-700 or M-70 off for adjustment to 3 1/2 lbs. it will get turned around in a day or two. On the 700 that'll include disassembly and cleaning of the housing. Usually fit it into the schedule as it's not very time consuming. It isn't rocket science, but should be done by someone who understands triggers.

It's more of a hypothetical question and the response form gunbugs is what I'm curious of but since you chimed in, what is your turnaround time right now?

Seems reasonable. I would expect a day or two. Anyone with other experiences or opinions?
