According to the sig line on the end of the email I recieved from Bighorse a while ago the names don't match up. Horse is in the Sitka area so I think the OP was just looking to get his attention to see if he had the inside track so to speak.

I haven't had a conversation with the guy. The information in the article says the same as I know.

I went back near that area last night with my children on a more public hiking trail for an afternoon romp.

That situation reminds be of another local story where a hunter was backed up into the water at the beach by a bear. He was so flustered that he just poked away at the bear with his barrel. Lucky for him the bear backed down.

This guy also beat the bear but ended up throwing a shot. If I run into the Biologist I'll ask about it.

Just to clear it up.....It was not me. I think my previous post clarifies that but just in case.

I like to hunt away from town. This Wolfe guy was on the road system. I usually run with my boat to other locations.

We've had lots of bears near town this year. I think there were two sets of Sow with four cubs. I repeat......four cubs!

Bighorse after your hunting trips so far this this year I figure if a brownie jumped you it would be skinned before you hit the ground.

LOL.....I'm kinda handy with the steel, if you know what I mean.

I work as an imaging technologist doing x-ray, CT, and MRI. My knowledge of anatomy is just a little above average.

It's been a good season. Thats for sure.
