Smile 330 scored caribou on haul road :)

i scored my caribou right at 330. i was blessed with a wall hanger this year on my haul road hunt. cant wait to get it officially scored here in in about another month (gotta wait 60 days from day of kill)

he was still in velvit full double shovel with a 45" spread

the deductions from one side to the other was only 4" not one deduction from one side to the other was more then .5!

ill post some pictures up here cant access them from my work computer.

hey AKNimrod, you ever get that boat on step? were the two people that stoped and talked to you at the launch there for a few. hope ya got it going!

    Default second pic

the morning we went out for this bull it was snowing sideways! but we still headed out and it paid off, we shot this bull and another one about 3 miles off the road hiking in. (we shot at the same time and killed them both) his is a very nice bull too very good bez and uppers, just didnt have the width and the other shovel like mine did. what a trip! honestly we did not see too many big bulls at all, outa the 1000 caribou we seen we seen around 12-15 that were definatly bulls and outa the 12-15 5-6 that might have been stockable in a 8 day hunting trip.
