    Wow that is crazy. So in the article it said something about that avalung.. I googled it. That thing is pretty neat. Do riders ever use those? We dont have any, just wonder if it would be a good thing to invest in.

    I think that I may get one... It sounds like, from reading reviews on it.. That this would definately prolong your breathing under snow, cause really who knows how long you could be under there. 130 $$ from what I was finding would definately be worth it.. The only hard part would be having it stick out of your jacket all the time.. I think if you were snowmachining and one broke loose that you would have a little more time to get it in your mouth than a skier would... Who knows though...

    I always ride with one. I have never had to use it but it is nice to know it is there.

    How exactly does the avalung work with a helmet..
    we use the modular skidoo helmets that have the breath deflector..
    do you just have the mouth peice inside your helmet and hope that you have enough time to get your breath deflector out of the way and get the tube in your mouth??
