    Default Vehicle Handgun Mount

I am looking for a convenient way to carry my pistol in my truck with easy access. Can anyone tell me if this mount would be considered legal?

A cheap Uncle Mikes clip on hooked to the shoulder strap of your seat belt works ok plus less chance of leaveing it in the car.

Do a net search for "kydex", it's holsters for dummies simple to use. Lay piece on cookie sheet in oven for a few min. at 300 deg. remove and drape over handgun. Use hand towell to form around gun, cures very quickly. If not satisfied reheat and go again, you can do this indefinetly!

Once happy with shape / fit just trim edges leaving enough to pop rivit to front of pick up console or anywhere else you want one. This works great as you can form more than one and have the same get up in the boat, truck etc.
Ive used c-washers and screws, pop rivets and sheet metal screws to hold a variety of handguns in trucks on boats, on wheelers etc. NEVER broke one yet!

I didn't suspect it was illegal but wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something.
    Thanks.

That is some pretty cool stuff. I will definitely look into using it for something. Although I'd prefer not to put any holes in my truck.
    Thanks
