    If u would like to join me for a cow elk hunt it will cost you $1250 which u will harvest a mature cow elk and we will egt the group rate normal price is $1500 call for details.

    cause if they are not fenced in they are escaped stock and if no reasonable effort is made to recapture them you won't need to pay.

    Mat valley meats has half a beef (218 pounds) for $899 processed. You're going to pay $650 for half the elk which is maybe 250 pounds, figure a little better than $1 for basic processing and your pretty close to that side of beef.

    To me these fenced in harvests at Delta are just meat collection trips. I think they need to drop the price on them a little before I could get interested. If I had not killed a moose this year I was going to look into purchasing half a bison somewhere, but the prices I was seeing were not very attractive.

    Chisana basically has the same view on this as me. I could do without the hiking around the farm and shooting the animal as it is just more work. If they would just herd it back into the barn and give it a steel bolt to the brain I would be just as interested.

    Ya, it's a meat haul. I was just curious about the price of beef and/or bison as compared to this deal. I'm not interested but man, elk steaks sure sound good! It's been a while!
