Default National Hunting and Fishing Day

Just thought I would remind everyone tomorrow is National Hunting and Fishing Day and what better way to celebrate it than to take a youngster hunting.

    Default too late ;)

Just ate fresh moose tenderloin tonight. Was fortunate enough to tag along on a father/son moosehunt and be there when the newly turned 13 year old bagged his first moose on an antlerless tag. I was able to fill his grandmother's tag by proxy at the same time. What a great time! New on next year's bucket list- getting my young nephews into the field with me more often.

No hunting for me; going to the Birchwood range to sight in for deer hunting! Hopefully going to take the boy out later in the year.
