Default DEDWUF's successful moose hunt!! Among other things....

Member DEDWUF sent me some pictures so I could post a few for him on the forum.

Looks like he and a bud were successful in getting a nice moose and a MOUSE!

    Headed up the river...

The next few pictures might need some explaining....and I'll do my best.

Combine a sloped shot, using WWII German Zeiss binoculars as a 'bi-pod', and your Dad's North Commerical Co .338 bought in 1958....and this is what you might get!!

How to stop a nose-bleed...Alaska style!

Moose shot at 460 yards. Sounds like a spine-shot with NO meat damage.

    Now the last trophy...

The square measurements and the green score on the skull are still uncomfirmed...but eat your heart out anyways!! I'll leave the rest of the details to DEDWUF

    9-11-09 moose

enjoyed the previous 8 days of beauty and friendship, gorged on blueberries.
Outside of Family,,, it doesn't get any better !!!

Drying period for moosmouse 120 days, international scientists still baffeled by the unusual rhodiasian ridgeback confirmation of hair. They need more money to do 'hairsnag' samples for further determination on folical studies.

Grizzly's are waiting for me, alone and smiling, in Oct.

I don't know what you are thinking that is but I would assume that most of the rest of us take cartridges on a hunt and it looks to me like he found another great use for his brass. I will admit that wouldn't work so well w/ a used broadhead so perhaps bow hunters need not apply...

Huntress, didn't want to violate exotic spiecies hunting regs, no bobbing tails,,,

and would occur more needed funding to internationl scientists & Alaskan bioligists. just trying to a well behaved and responsible 'hunter'.

Have You ever cut the 'string' off to use on a moosmouse this size??

Especially if you keep trying to rearrange all the parts like in the pics. Good hunt photos.
