    Default Bison Gulch?

Any info on Bison Gulch hike? Is it one a family could take? We have three older children and then one that will have to be packed in. Thanks

This is the bison gulch near Denali Park? If so, there is a small parking lot on the east side of the Parks highway, you can see the trail you'd take from that lot. The trail is on the north side of the creek. Its pretty much a steady up but great views. the trail is all tundra so no bushwacking. Nice day hike.

If you want to get to the summit of Mount Healy then it could take anywhere between 4 and 9 hours round trip to the road. It really is a great hike and the views are fantastic on a clear day.

The actual summit itself requires a very small amount of climbing and it isn't a big deal but when you do reach it, it looks as if it is just a huge vertical cliff so just follow the thin trail around to the right and there is a little gully to climb up.

You should see some sheep and a whole bunch of Hoary marmots if you're lucky. Those things make laugh for some reason. Good luck anyway.
