    Default any salmon (any kind) on the parks?

    have family coming up this week, was looking for a day of fishing for some salmon, any thing that'll bite, don't care what shape they are in!! lol just wanna tug on the line? talkeetna is about my range outa wasilla...thanks guy/gals

    I was at Willow this weekend. Sat was bad, Sun the water level was up but silvers were sporadic. Not too many were biting. Tons of dead or dying pinks and chums tho.

    Saw a bunch of Silvers in Sunshine Creek two weekends ago, some were a little blushed, but we managed some nice chromers while we were there. Watch out for bears as the place looks like a mine field of Salmon Carcasses...

    where is sunshine creek and how do you get there? can i fish it with little kids you think?

    It's a few miles (I'm thinking 5 miles) past the Talkeetna Road/Parks Hwy junction. It's down a small dirt road to your right if you're heading north. It's really easy to miss, so keep your eyes peeled. I've seen many children fishing there before with their families.

    everyone thanks for the help, i'll let you know how it goes, if i go. weather might break long enough to wet the land..funny how its funner when land is dry and the line is wet, cause when the ground is wet i tend to keep my line dry....lifes gets weird with kids...

    Default Sunshine Creek Access

    That little road can get pretty horrible after a rain. I made the mistake of trying to go down it in an RV one year. No, no, no!

    A pickem up or suv is a much better choice...
