    Default grey water drains

on one of the websites that deals with a grey water set ups it saying that grey water drains are just as bad a black water drain for over time the grey water gunk builds up and stops up the pipe in the ground ..

so it better to put a grey water drain clean out in the line some so you can flush it out as need or to clean it out as need ..

one of the things it said was not to have a holes in the pipe for that lets in things that can help clog the pipe unit..
but in a black water drain field you lay out the holes so they can flow back into the earth helping the system clean it self out with the sand and pea gravel rocks set up ..

so how can that be when the grey water is comeing out of the shower and washing machince and the kitchen sink set up ..
so does the so called grey water gunk come from ..

so would pushing a hot water down though the drain system once a month would that help keep the gunk from building up ..

I would put cleen outs in everything and no more than 20 foot apart.

A black water leach field is protected from getting solids in the line by the tank. The solids fall out and get broken down in the tank by enzymes. If you run a gray water line directly to the leach field without a tank ot trap of some kind it will plug the holes in the perf-pipe before very long.
