    Default Anyone...Whittier Silver Fishing Report?

Does anyone have a silver fishing report for Whittier. I went out last week and hade descent weather, but the fishing was less than spectacular. With gas at $3.10/gallon, I am looking forward to staying in close and using my kicker motor.
I hate to run to Seward and not be able to set shrimp pots without running out of Resurrection Bay, but the cost of getting in and out of Whittier is getting rediculous, $50.00 last week just to get the boat in the water ($20/ Tunnel, $20/ Launch, $10/ day Parking).

Seward silver fishing is as slow as it gets! I dare say "over"?

No silvers close to Whittier last weekend. Went all the way out to Main bay and still nothing. They arent here yet and may not show again this year.

Good luck where ever you try.

Got limits of silvers last weekend and also 2 weekends prior, but went out to Latouche to get them Closer in was real slow. I got 1 at Main Bay last weekend on the way down. Expensive fish that far out, used 56 gallons of diesel...
