Thread: Any places in Anchorage that.....

Default Any places in Anchorage that.....

Any places in Anchorage that will trade guns, or take a gun as trade on a new one.

Basically, I have a perfect condition Browning Citori 12 gauge, that I hardly ever use (only for going to the range). It looks way too nice to take in the field duck hunting.

Well, I really would like to trade it in on a Baretta Xtrema 2.

Is there anywhere I could do this? I guess I could sell it and buy the new gun... but that'd be a hassle.

Pretty much any gunshop in Anchorage will take a gun on trade. Take a run through the yellow pages and give 'em a call to see if they have what you're looking for. A few of the notable stores off-hand would be Wild West Guns, Great Northern Guns and Boondocks.

..........,but you won't get as much in trade as you would if you sold it yourself.

    Default A gun store

has to buy a used gun for less than the full value of the gun so they can make some profit, to stay in business. To go into a gunstore expecting to get full value for a used gun is looking for disappointment, unless you can put it on consignment.

Sorry, even though Beretta keeps trying to make us a dealer, we have not reached an agreement with them (ie they need us more than we need them ), so right now the only Italian ones we have is benelli, including the new Vinci.

Benellis customer service is far better than beretta, which is why we are holding off dealing with Beretta. Since we like to make sure our customers are satisfied and since we stand behind the products we sell we are very picky as to who we will do biz with.
