    Default Fort Rich Test

Wondering what to expect for the muzzel loader test. I drew last year and they decided not to make us do the test - said they were too short on manpower. My dad drew this year and they are making everybody take the test.

How many shots, what yardage, what size target, how many can you miss and still pass, what positions do they make you shoot from, etc.? Any other info is appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Default last I knew...

    life size moose targets
    shooter must identify the vitals
4 of 5 must be in vitals
one shot must be from either sitting, kneeling or prone
one shot must be off hand
    up to 100 yds

Range finder and/or shooting sticks are allowed but if used for the test they are required to be carried in the field during the hunt.
