    Default Seward this Weekend

I have my folks in town this weekend and wanted to take them out fishing. Seward is the best bet coming out of Anchorage as the fishing is good, but the weather looks questionable. Weather looks good for Whittier but fishing is tougher. Here's Seward's weather. What do you guys think?

    Seward Weather:
TODAY...N WIND 15 KT WITH GUSTS TO 25 KT THIS MORNING. WINDS
VARIABLE 10 MPH THIS AFTERNOON. SEAS 4 FT SUBSIDING TO 1 FOOT.
.TONIGHT...VARIABLE WIND 10 KT BECOMING N 15 KT AFTER MIDNIGHT. SEAS
    2 FT.
.SAT...N WIND 15 KT BECOMING S IN THE AFTERNOON. SEAS 3 FT.
.SAT NIGHT...VARIABLE WIND 15 KT. SEAS 2 FT.
    .SUN...VARIABLE WIND 10 KT. SEAS 2 FT.
    .MON...VARIABLE WIND 10 KT. SEAS 2 FT.
    .TUE...VARIABLE WIND 10 KT. SEAS 2 FT.

Two foot seas are as low as they predict. I say go for Seward.

Most of my trips this summer have been down to Seward. Yup, the water was generally rougher then the sound, but the fishing was also generally better and not so far out.

I love cruising the sound, but have a hard time heading out of there on day trips.

    Question Where at this weekend

Are the fish scattered now, or still hot at fox and pony?

That weather forecast is as good as it gets for Seward I think.... I'm heading out on a two day charter there, so pretty happy with the forecast...
