    Default lee speed die

Can anyone tell me the advantages of using the Lee Speed die when reloading handgun ammo ?

I had not heard of speed die's but your post caused me to do a little research. It sounds like they do work okay. However, I fail to see how they are faster then regular dies. I can spin my rifle dies in and out of the press in seconds and I know they are set the same as last time. Where as the with the speed die you need to reset things each time you change what the die is doing.

Hornandy came out with something like this first, then Lee stepped up with their interrupted thread die-their 'speed die'. Every time I see something like these products I wonder who buys them. It takes me about 30-45 seconds to set up a die, ones that I've done before. What would buying a speed die get me? I reload to try to save money. If I was in a hurry I wouldn't reload, I'd just buy factory ammo.
