Default Targeting Dollies VS. Rainbows in Deep Creek

I'm headed to Deep creek this weekend to pursue dollies and clams. I know Deep is a steelhead fishery and would like to discourage rainbow hookups if possible. From what I understand their feeding habits are the same and I'm wondering the best way to get a sea run dolly while damaging as few trout as I can. I've got barbless hooks and will likely use them.

go now before the steelhead get there
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

Try the upper Anchor (North Fork) for dollies. A bead works well. There will be less folks there as Salmon fishing is not allowed. There are plenty of dollies around. Deep Creek is a Zoo at the moment due to the Silvers.
and most dollies have run through the open area.
