    Default Kodiad silver fishing

I am going to be in Kodiak September 19th to the 26th. I would like to go fishing in the rivers for Silvers. where would be a good place to go?

    Thumbs up

Any one of the rivers on the road system will work just fine providing the silver run is decent, Start off with the Buskin just out of town then hit the American River, the mouth of the Olds is excellent on the incoming. Pasagshak River I think is the best. You can fish the mouth or the lake floating eggs, got plenty of hogs out of there myself. And last but not least if you can get a 4 wheeler take that 45 min ride to Saltry Cove...most excellent adventure

    Default Mining Kodiak silver...

There's plenty more spots more closer in. If you get the weather (rain and then fair skies) it's a duck shoot all over.

Silvers are big around the island. I took down a 22 pounder last Friday at sea off Larsen Bay...
