    Default Seasonings, Rubs, and Dressings

A couple of years ago at the Fair, I learned of this company that makes some amazing seasonings, rubs, and dressings.

    http://www.nonessentialsalaska.com/

I was wondering if any of you have had heard of this company, used their products, or if you know if there is some kind of online ordering for them?

    Thanks!

Non Essentials is a local store in Palmer specializing in all kinds of gourmet foods and treats and local Alaskan art wares. The carry a lot of Summit Spice Company spices and other marinades, rubs etc. The shop is great and Denise the owner and all her people are terrific! You should check the store out but I'm sure they will be at the fair this year too (they usually are).
I heard a rumor that the Summit Spice company was going through some transition and may stop producing spices and rubs (I hope it is only a rumor) but they make some great grilling spices for salmon.

That's exactly what I was looking for!! We ran out of our salmon rub and I wanted more, but they weren't at our Interior fair this year. I don't think that they were last year either.

I hope that it's just a rumor that they are going through transition.

    Default Two of my favorite

    http://www.thespicehouse.com/spices/...er-spice-blend

Both are wonderful with salmon; not a million bucks too, especially if you have your own empty (old McCormick style) shaker laying around to put it into, so you can buy the bulk 4 oz. that comes in a baggie.

That company is good to deal with too.
