Default Keeping your Impertech rain pants up!!!

    OK all,
I love my HH Impertech rain gear but the pants are a pain in the backside. I use the drawstring to try keep them cinched tight but when wearing my packframe they always come loose and fall down. Any ideas??? I've tried putting a knot in the string in front of that black cinch thing but it does not work very well.

I've thought about trying to use a small cinch belt or something instead. Not sure about suspenders as the clips would likely end up tearing the pants where they clip on.

    Any ideas???

    Thanks.

    Default Suspenders

I had the same problem with the pants and have since added suspenders. I've used the clip on type and haven't had any issues with them tearing.

buy a kit to apply snaps might want to back them with som other material. I used them on some browning pants that were baggy around boot area. work good.

    Default 'spenders

I use both the bibs and regular pants. I prefer bibs, but when using pants, I deploy the Rainbow colored "Clown" suspenders with aligator clips. They seem to work just fine and are always good for a laugh on a slow day in camp.

Been doing this for 40 yrs with rain pants. Either go with bibs, or use clip on suspenders and then they will never slide down again. The suspenders work great.

Bibs all the way. Ive rocked the $25 HH bibs for several years. Great multi-purpose bib, great for hiking through wet alders.
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed
