    Default Caribou Antler Care

3rd week in August we are going up to Haul road for bou. Wondering how hard the antlers are under the velvet that time of year and whether its better to try to save the velvet on with a preservative, or strip it off. If preserving, what is best to use? Figure I could hit the pharmacy and get a big syringe to inject, just do not know what to use. Would prefer to do a euro mount if successful, but just not sure if I would ruin the antlers trying to strip them this early in the year.

Thanks for any assistance folks give,

    Will

They might be starting to shed by that time, I got one 1st week in September up there and just ended up peeling the rest off.
