    Default Drying Food

I am going on a hunt and would like to dry my own food without buying the prepackaged ones, does anyone have an idea about this?

Default The Back-Country Kitchen: Camp Cooking for Canoeists, Hikers, and Anglers

The Back-Country Kitchen: Camp Cooking for Canoeists, Hikers, and Anglers is the best book I have found. It covers how to dry your own food and gives recipes of how to best use them. It also tells you the level of dificulty for each recipe. It is very detailed and produces good food/results.

It ain't about the # of pounds of meat we bring back, nor about how much we spent to go do it. Its about seeing what no one else sees.
