    Default Opening day success??

So? Did anyone score on opening day for moose?

I got within 20 yds of two "tweeners". One was about 36" with 2 brows on one side and 1 on the other. The other bull was a 3x3. I think there was a third with them, but I never was able to spot him. I spoke with two other hunters who saw two "tweeners" further up the trail as well. It is good to see there are a decent amount of bulls in this small area. To top it off, when I got home I had a healthy cow graze her way across my back yard.

    Score...

Sorry my friend I spent the day caring for my sick child while the wife had a "girls day out"

Just as well I needed the day to recover from my Ill fated Bou hunt.(Is there a more angry face we could add? Maybe something with flames shooting from the eyes, you know so vile you'll know I'm angry even with the computer off?)

    Default Opening Evening Success!!!!

Got my bull last night. He was legal by brow tines only, but none the less, a really nice big bodied bull. 3x2 My youngest son saw him first and I had almost riden past him. 15 yard shot from my Bowtech Tomkat, and the muzzy broadhead through the lungs, made for a wonderful blood trail to follow the 50 yards to find him plopped over against a tree. Pictures later if i can find my camera. Think I may have left it out in the woods..
