    Default Kenai Guides for mid October Trip?

    Has anyone used a guide on the Kenai in mid October and if so how was the fishing and if the guide was good or bad can you please help me out thank you

    What kind of fishing are you wanting to do? There are some guides that are running rainbow and dolly fishing in october. There are also a few that are chasing the late silvers around.

    If you are looking for rainbows, check out D-Ray Personal Guide Service. Troutfitters is another good outfit. They might offer a combo trip that late.

    Doesn't silver season close 9/30 on the Kenai?

    I've had really good times, and great luck with the Fenton Bros. Both Mike and Murray will put you on fish.

    Silver season usually closes November 30 for the Kenai River. October can be pretty good. Cold, but.......
