    Default Grizz on the Steese??

Id like to try bowhunting grizz this year and was wondering what you think about grizz on the Steese. Id like to try up around Central, any in-puts would be greatly welcome. Thank You.

My buddy keeps his plane in Central, and has a cabin there, and he still flys out for griz, he claims there aren't alot of them there. Of course I haven't seen a griz in all my trips out there except for one black bear.

Maybe others can give you some insight...

There are a few griz scattered around up on the Steese, but there are much better spots for interior bears.

Either go north towards Coldfoot or go south towards Paxson and the Denali hwy.
You'll likely see far more bears with more liberal seasons.
