    Default 20A Moose Population Dynamics

I went a-googling for info on moose and moon phase to satisfy my own curiosity and found the following study on population dynamics in 20A.

Granted it's a 2003 paper but very informative.

    http://www.wildlife.alaska.gov/pubs/...-pop-dyn03.pdf

    A few key points:
-20A had/has high density but low reprodution due to depressed browse
-Calf body weights lower than same age calves in Denali Natl Park
-Wolves were the prime cause of calf mortality

Oh, sorry...moon phase doesn't seem to have the impact on moose as it does whitetails.

*edit* That's not the final word, just what I found in my limited research
