    Default Kenai Shooting Opportunities?????

Trying to find out info on the local archery club and am drawing blanks. Anyone know of a local range that has 3-d targets, hell even just bag targets would work fine I guess. Was hoping to find a local league, but seems our only archery shop is closed or at least closed up for the moment.

    Info anyone?

    Thanks,

    Will

Call the Wildlife Refuge Headquarters on Ski Hill road. There is a large outdoor archery range south of them that I believe they have something to do with. At least they might know who to call about it.

The Kenai Peninsula Archers have a range out on Arc road south of Soldotna. I have no idea if it's active year round, but they have a great shoot there on the 4th of July.

    Default Thanks,

I recall the one out Arc Loop, and have seen the sign on the Sterling highway, but cannot find on the web or phone book who to contact to join or find out any information.

I will call the refuge tomorrow and see what I can find.

    Thanks,

    Will

I think there was a phone # on the sign to the range on Arc loop when I was down there for the shoot on the fourth. They have a great range.

Contact Len @ 262 7375. He will give you all the info you want. The range is open 24-7 365 days a year to club members, and the membership fees are a very reasonable $20 per year. They also put on several 3D shoots every year.
