    Default Last July Grizz....

Client took this 7'8" grizz last week on a 3 day hunt, saw 8 grizz and 9 blackies but we didn't hang out to shoot one of those. due to the hot weather last month the hides weren't in as good of shape as they have been in years past. last july i got snowed on!!! but this was the best haired bear we saw. the black bear hides might take a little longer this year to start fillin' out depending on how the temps go...they were pretty ragged looking.
anyway, client had a super attitude, new what he was getting in for and really lived in the moment..some guys pull the trigger and say "ok, check that off the list..whats next?!" but this guy from Canada really lived the moment...great joy to guide guys like that!!

Didn't have a tag for this guy, so we let him "walk"...?

Making the clients happy, you seem to do it with ease. Great job Jake!

Good thing you had the .416 along when you ran into the deadly gray with black spots hopper, it could have been serious.

Looks like he will brush out and make a nice trophy. You can get hot enough hunting when its 30 out so seeing so many in just three days with this heat shows lots of effort.Congrats to the hunter and to you for getting one of those good hunters.
