thanks for the info. can i take a monster truck on it?
Thanks for the information...I was hoping we would get something like this up here. My machine is not setup for serious mud boggin but I would like to give it a go anyway.
They run a snowmobile class in Delta...talk about fast..I ran it one year and my times were under 5 seconds..about 4 times as fast as the ATV's and right in there with the nitro unlimited trucks All on a stock SummitX 670.

Any update on this event yet????
Any new information on this????
memorial day its going on, the price is expensive and you have to purchase fair ticket too! even if you not going to anything else!! wow they really get you good there.
I am going to give the contact for this event a call today and post whatever information I get. I have talked to the folks at the fair grounds and they are looking for information as well. I have a feeling this event may not happen as advertised.
there better be mud drags now that i bought my **** tickets!!!!!
Talked to Cathy today and finally got some information. The web page they posted the form on is not very good as the link to the form just looks like text and not a html link. The enrty forms can be found here: http://www.ammcracing.com/ammc_mud_drag_form.pdf
Hope this helps folks out!
Any clarification on what you can and can't do to a "stock" machine before you end up in the "improved" class?
Spoke with one of the event coordinators by phone the other day. They are still working out issues with location of the mud pits in front of the Grandstand. He told me he hopes to build 2 pits. Each pit will be about 20 feet wide and be anywhere from 135 feet to 175 feet long (depending on available space). Sounds really good but it seems the event did not make the Fair Schedule. We contacted the Fair and they informed my wife that they were aware of the event but that the AMMC folks never got back to them with any information. Sounds like poor planning, information flow, and coordination will plague the event this year. Still hoping there are enough folks out there that want to have this happen and show up to participate ad support that it can be improved next year and return as an annual event. I'll be out there and hope other folks will too.
