Default Seward or Whittier for the weekend

I am just looking to get out for a day trip and would like to hear if the anyone knows how the silvers are doing out of seward or whittier. I would not go farther then pony or culross and they are calling for the weather to be about the same out of both. Thanks

    Default Im going to

Seward for silvers and halibut saturday. Should be a good day on the water. If it was me I would go to seward only because if the weather turns its not that long of a boat ride and less getting beat up. And I think the fishing in whittier for silvers and still pretty far out and makes for a long boat ride and less fishing. And in seward less boat ride more fishing. Thats my experience from doing both. Other's may see it different than I do. My .02 cents. Chris

Considering the roads are flooding in Seward at the moment, you might want to consider Whittier. Who knows what it'll be doing in a couple days, though. I imagine silver fishing is better in Seward, you just might not be able to get there.
