Default Fishing In Yakutat Through The Years 2000-2003

I have been fishing in yakutat for most of the last ten years. It has always been a rewarding experience. Here are a few pix I have collected over the years:

June 2000 was my first trip to Alaska and Yakutat, this is the first fish I caught (not a bad start):

(For the life of me I can't seam to find the pix fron 2001 & 2002, but I was there!! )
2003 was a great year, there were so many Kings in the river that Fish and Game opened the river for bait and raised the retention of Kings to 3/day:

Default Fishing In Yakutat Through The Years 2004-

2004 was another great year with a strong run of Kings and Sockeye:

2005 was my 1st year for Steelhead, 10 years of California Steelhead fishing every day:

And great halibut fishing in the last week of May:

2006 was my 1st defection from Yakutat as I went to Karluk and Afognak for something new and different. But 2007 had me back in Yakutat for Kings, Reds, and Halibut:

Thanks for sharing. I have been to Yakutat many times myself, but always late in the year for silvers. I can see I better try earlier for kings and reds. What is the best time to go?
