    Which way(s) will the bou head from this fire? Anyone know?

    Probably not effecting the 'bou at all. The caribou will be in the high country in the mountains. This fire is listed as 25miles south of Fairbanks which puts it out in the flats.

    yep steve,,, told ya you are looking at the WRONG end of the unit for those guys...

    Most of the times I have seen caribou in the central Alaska Range they were in areas that would not burn because there was so little plant growth. In other words - high in the mountains.
