    Default Talachulitna info?

Got a call from friends in the lower 48 asking what was up with the Tal not having any water in it. Their "host" called to inform them that the river was dry and they were cancelling all of their clients for the remainder of the summer.

Anyone have any info to confirm this? Not trying to question integrity here, just seems odd with every other river around running high.

    looking for info/education.

    Thanks,

    Mike

I can't imagine it is dry, I wouldn't be suprised if the lodges at the mouth aren't running up to the lodges because of shallow water. Also floating the river would be a huge huge pain lots of dragging/portaging from Judd to the forks.

Everything in the valley is looking really low on the hydrographs http://aprfc.arh.noaa.gov/ahps2/index.php?wfo=pafc good luck
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.
