    Default mepps?

I found mepps spinners work pretty good but then i tried panther martins. I threw everything in the boat at some trout this weekend and the only thing that seemed to interest them were the Panthers. The secret lake had good fish last year but this year the only thing biteing was the fish and games new stock. Even the kids got bored!!!

    Default Mepps are great lures...

I love Mepps lures and the Panther Martins. Why choose only one? One thing I like about Mepps is you can go to their website and order directly. In doing so, you can order them with single hooks. I have had great success with these lures for silvers. Size #4 and #5 spinners and a few Flying C's are shown below. Take a guess what color I like All great lures for silvers. When looking at grayling or dollies, I prefer the action of the Panther Martins. 3/8 ounce in silver, gold, orange, and metallic blue of all colors.

    Default sigle hooks

thats such a great option when i find im always having to change them myself. Pencil fish jigs come with trebles and i cant deal with trying to get three hooks out of one fish!

kind of like the saying ' one shot one kill' with a single hook

If the silvers are as attracted to them as me, they should work well. Those are sharp looking.

    Default Where to Buy

You can also buy the Kodiaks at B&J, and I believe Trustworthy in Soldotna.
