Thumbs up Kenai B&B - Highly Recommended

I just wanted to give a plug to the Kenai B&B that is the forum sponsor here. We stayed down at Claude and Jennifer's place Friday night through Monday. These are some great folks that provided a very convenient place to dipnet from. Our camper was parked literally 200 yards or less from one of the entrances to the south beach. Claude and Jennifer got us set up with electrical outlets for our camper and a great place to back into. After we got back with fish, they had a table set up outside with hose and we processed all of our fish right on-site. We even brought a card table and plugged in our vaccuum sealer right there, getting a good portion of our catch sealed off before we even left. We threw the fish carcasses back into coolers and hauled the back to the beach the next day for more dipping. If you are going dipping, I highly recommend you give them a call. The link to their site is at the top of the forum, or go here:

Because this was at their house as well, our kids had a great time playing with their dog around the backyard on the trampoline and swingset. We had a great time getting to know Grizzly1 and his family as well as a few other folks.

    Highly recommended!!!

Hi jmg, I agree with you that Claude and his lovely wife Jennifer offer a great place to stay with lot's of hospitality. The boy's had a great time playing in their expansive back yard with their son Bob, that alone was worth the cost (a safe palce for children to play amid the dipnetting chaos), what a great weekend! All were helpfull and the advise was appreciated, it made all the difference on this, my family's first dipnetting adventure. Kudos!

It was an added bonus to have such great camping neighbor's and we enjoyed meeting your lovely family jmg!

    Default Thanks!

Thanks guys! We had a blast having you. Nice to have a 'forum member only' area down there. Great putting faces to the names after all these years. I'm looking forward to meeting more of you this weekend, once I escape Anchorage tomorrow afternoon.

You're welcome Claude. We'll see you guys again tomorrow night as we are bringing the in-laws down tomorrow for some clams in the morning and dipping in the evening.
