I did a quick overnighter back to Boulder Creek off the Glenn Hwy yesterday to this morning. The trail was in pretty good shape, perhaps due to all the warm, dry weather. It did rain overnight, but the two major mudholes at about mile 1 and mile 10 were still easily passable this morning with 4wd. I used diff-lock, but might have been ok without it.

The Simpson Cabin, near the creek at about mile 10, now has No Trespassing signs all over it, so I left it alone. I thought whoever built it/ owns it used to be ok with passers by staying in it?

Anyhow, besides a wet tent to have to hang up at home the ride was really nice.

I'll try to put up pics.
